for yasha;
To the garden. It's not literally the end of the day but the start of one, a fresh morning after a lonesome night with some beer, making small talk at a local bar. It's not the same though, which is why Beau goes seeking out Yasha in the most relaxing environment she can think of. If the woman isn't there, at least Beau can smell the flowers. ]

It makes her skin crawl with unease.
So, she keeps to herself in the garden, tending to it the best she can in Caduceus' place. The visitor isn't so much a surprise, Molly and Fish have been up to see her recently, but it's been too long since she's seen Beau.]
Morning. [Her voice is unbearably soft as if to keep from breaking the quiet of the morning and from behind some roses(or something like roses) she's watering before the sun's heat.]

Yeah, neither good nor bad. Just morning.
[ She keeps her voice soft too, but for Beau that's harder, the natural roughness adding strength to what she wants to keep quiet. But she tries and saunters closer, hands in the pockets of her pants, trying to look nonchalant. ]
How's it going? The whole garden, I mean.
[ Since they lost Deuces. ]

She watches Beau come closer before drawing her attention away so as to not make the other uncomfortable or to feel awkward herself.]
I... well Caduceus was better at this, he taught me some but... well most of it is still.. alive? [That's something, right? She isn't a green thumb and she can't talk to the plants so... yeah she can only keep what she can alive and hope.]

Better than I would do.
[ There's a pause. ]
My father tried to teach me something about the vineyards. He only shoved me in with the books because I kept stomping on the grapes.
[ Does she regret it now, being an ass to her father? No. He showed his colors in the end. But it's not exactly the best behavior for a kid, she knows that. ]
