The Day after the Ship Check in

[ Jo heads out to check in people the day after he gets back. Beau is one of those he cares about, and wants to know is okay, and so he heads to where she lives, sending a message ahead simply saying Beer and meat. Y/n?.

She is one of those he knows he can talk to, any time, and he hopes she knows he feels the same toward her. Maybe removing the element of sex helps, he doesn't know, but either way, he goes to check in on her. ]

[ Beau still doesn't have a good grasp on how to use the communication devices, and frankly after the escapades on the ship, she's even less willing to give technology a try. So there's no clever remark in response to his inquiry, just silence and the expectation that he'll be coming soon. No answer is not a no, right?

So when she hears the door knock, she heads over to open it and greets him with a relieved sigh. ]
