+1 fun

INBOX text / audio / video / action I feel bad.
I've treated people like shit my whole life.
And . . . I don't know.
Having one transformative moment doesn't mean that you're immediately going to be a different person overnight
and being better is something
you have to work at,
I guess.

That's surprising.

And of course I'm not going to tell her.
I don't actually care very much.

Perhaps you made a mistake, adults are capable of them as well. I don't know all the circumstances but you have obviously seen that it was a mistake. It still does not establish any pattern of behaviour that can't be changed. Have you avoided getting another girlfriend since then?

How likely would you be to do something differently if a similar situation presented itself?

Look, you're already regretting a moment in your past because of something you didn't do. So maybe go see this person you're avoiding and do something stupid?

It might not go perfectly but you can at least say you tried something

You've talked with her about this before then?

[So Jester has mostly been pretending like she doesn't....care that she barely sees Beau. It's fine, whatever, she has friends.

Except then one day two of them are NOT THERE ANYMORE Probably.]

essek and caleb are gone
i think
i sent them messages and then i tried to do sending when they didn't answer and it just

didn't work

How do you know she doesn't feel that way about you then?

[She's saying we because she expects Beau to come check it out with her. She's not even asking.]

yeah i'll be there

[It doesn't take Jester long to get there, so she just...waits outside the door to Essek's place. Her tail swishes behind her anxiously while she does.]

You'd be surprised how oblivious people can be about these things and who says she has to say anything? Maybe she's waiting for you.

Although she might just be more than a little cruel if she did that.

What sickness are you referring to?

[Hello to you too, Beau. Jester watches Beau pound on the door, her arms folded across her chest. But when she actually asks her a question...]

I mean, no, but I can use Dimension Door to get us in.
disasterartist: (i'll follow the sun)

[personal profile] disasterartist 2020-06-25 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Sure. Gimme a sec.

[She has to actually be touching Beau, though, so Jester steps close enough to do that. The spell doesn't take much prep, so Jester just....touches the tips of her fingers to Beau's arm and then says the words she needs.

And then they're in the apartment! The very quiet apartment.

Jester drops her hand, like, immediately once they're in.]

I understood, it wouldn't be in her personality not to say something if she knew. Which sort of implies that she doesn't know?

Oh. That may explain something that I had presumed was just a general sickness.

As I said, somethings are very obvious when it doesn't involve yourself. People can be very blind sometimes. Have you not had someone who didn't notice something right under their nose?

And you said you got better because she told you she loved you?
